Roche Colorado has received numerous awards in recent years for its leadership on as a corporate citizen. The following are just a few examples:

Business of the Decade Award: Boulder Chamber of Commerce

Roche Colorado received the Business of the Decade Award from the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. This award recognized Roche Colorado as "a shining example of what an impact a corporation can have on a community. It exemplifies what type of business partner works well in Boulder — an environmentally conscious, community oriented, job-producing organization that has much to give to Boulder as it gets." Pacesetter Award: Business Category

John Tayer, Community Relations Manager for Roche Colorado Corporation, received the 2004 Pacesetter Award the Daily Camera newspaper for his work in the Boulder community on behalf of the company. The Pacesetter Award for Business recognizes the leadership and contributions that businesses make to the public welfare. As mentioned in a newspaper story concerning the Pacesetter Award, Tayer explained that he was thankful to have the opportunity to communicate with the public concerning Roche Colorado's commitment to the environment and its production of groundbreaking AIDS medications. "It's just been an easy story to tell about a company that I think has made incredible strides in addressing some of the community's concerns," he said.

Boulder County AIDS Project: Company of the Year Award

Roche Colorado received the Company of the Year Award from the Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP). BCAP is and nonprofit agency that both advocates on AIDS issues and offers direct services to those who are infected with the HIV virus. Roche Colorado has had a great partnership with BCAP for a number of years, including the contribution of direct financial support and through volunteer employee programs.
